Each day we will build momentum to your desired outcome by incorporating a small step toward embracing your heart centered authentic self, and align you with your inner compass as we count down to the New Year.
One of the steps toward a happier year, and lets face it a happier life is to find a way to center ourselves when things get stressful. The following exercise can be used at anytime. Find a place that you can sit quietly and undisturbed for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then begin the exercise.
Take a deep breath and as you exhale visualize the sun beam flowing from the top of your head down just behind the bridge of your nose. Pause here and take three deep breaths.
Take a deep breath and as you exhale visualize the sun beam flowing down past your mouth and into your throat. Pause your focus here, be in the moment, breathe.
Take a deep breath and as you exhale visualize the sun beam flowing down your spinal column to your heart. Notice how you feel. Allow yourself to breath rhythmically. Notice how you feel. Can you sense the warmth of SPIRIT’s love?
On your next breath send the sun beam down to your solar plexus, breathe and feel your gut instinct. Linger here a moment. Take several deep breaths releasing any tension that you might feel in your body.
Take a deep breath and as you exhale visualize the sun beam flowing down just below your belly button, fill this space with warm acceptance of who you are. Breathe.
Focus your mind and release the sun beam down to tail end of the spine, pause, breathe, and send it down into the ground three feet below your feet. Breathe. Enjoy the relaxed state of being.
When you are ready move your arms and legs to restore and raise your heart rate again. Become fully present in the moment.
Hold in your heart and mind these words: SPIRIT it is from you that I came, and to you that I will return. I am blessed in my daily walk with you. I open my heart and mind to flow in your Divine Love.
