45 Day to Reclaiming Your Emotional Health

 Walk of Faith

Day 22: The Gift of Serenity, love, peacefulness, and joy.

The Gift of Serenity, love, peacefulness, and joy. Say this out loud to yourself: I accept now SPIRIT’s / God’s gift of peace, love, joy, and serenity in my life. I accept this now.

How did that feel? Was there any part of your body that winced, tightened, or felt unsettled?

A lot of people ask me Deanna, how is it as an emotionally abused woman, you were able to regain your emotional health and increase your strength in your walk with SPIRIT / God? How did you trust that SPIRIT even existed, if you were living in place where you did not feel valued or appreciated?

I knew deep down inside that my life was not about being someone else emotional punching bag, and it was not about dying slowly because my body was storing such great amounts of pain for such a long period of time.  The breaking point for me is when a friend insisted that I go into the doctor for depression. This was not at all my first choice, but in desperation: tired of feeling tired, tired of having money withheld from me so that I could not purchase food for my daughter, despondent because I felt there was no way out, and wondering why God has forsaken me, I went to the doctor.

The doctor diagnosed me with postpartum depression. I got assigned some pills, and was sent home. Deep inside I knew that I was in trouble. I had always been a bright loving person desiring to be loved and treated with respect. At that moment I was the furthest from that that I had ever been. I used to cry for long periods of time asking SPIRIT for help.

I knew that SPIRIT / God loved me even if my abuser did not appear to. I knew that I did not need to rely on any human to feel loved, valued, and appreciated. I also knew that in pure spirit form we are the closest to the love vibration. In the human form we perceive that we are separate from SPIRIT / Source and spend great amounts of time trying to achieve or attain oneness. In the “visual” absence of SPIRIT and perceiving SPIRIT to be external from ourselves we seek the love of other human beings.

So how did I minimize my pain, find the strength within, and begin my walk of faith? Well you might say it is in the secret sauce. Lol! But what it really was was accepting SPIRIT’s gift of freedom and the use of a wonderful tool. It had an instant impact on my life in a very positive manor.

In the days ahead I will share more about this wonderful life changing tool and how it can help you achieve your own more powerful inner mindset. It can help you break through self imposed barriers, and shift your life into a more authentic serenity, and put an end to your struggle to break the cycle of abuse. See you tomorrow!

Day 21: Taking the next step.

It is time to say goodbye to some of your past behaviors and habits.

Begin by changing the way you think about and embrace yourself.

Each day state out loud to yourself: I am loved, I am valued, there is only one me. I am beautiful, I am worthy, I am happy, I am whole, and I love being me!

I am sorry what did you say? “I love being me!” Shout it out if you can. Dance in the street, and shout it from the roof top (not literally of course). Allow your whole body to fill up with that wonderful feeling you get when you dance, move your hips, arms, or what ever you can.

Wake up early and watch the sun rise, go to the park and walk. Make something fun for dinner.

Let your heart expand as much as you can. Look yourself in the mirror and say: “Good morning, I love you!”

This is your time to shine.

Day 20: Congratulations, You are doing Awesome!

If you have felt a shift or are feeling a shift ~ congratulations you are doing Awesome!

If now time to approach victimlessnesshood. What? Up until now you have been in a role in a drama. The role is called victim. If it is your desire to no longer be a victim ~ it is time to release blame. You may have blamed the other person for being a bully, an Ass, or  a jerk. While this energy may be true of that person – your engagement to view this person in that energy creates a bond, a mirror, a magnet. So it is time to become less of a victim, create less victim likeness, and release, defuse, dissolve the bond.

For what good is a villain without his muse? How can an abuser abuse someone who no longer fills the role. The victim by releasing the desire to blame becomes the victor. Let me be plain, not the victor over the other person, but the victor of themselves.

Release blame over all levels ~ no blaming yourself either! You now have a new awareness in which to work. So do the work. If you find yourself saying: “Yeah, but. . . ” resist the yeahbut game it too is a victim game.

Revisit your list about what you value about yourself. Evaluate how you think others see you or value / devalue you.

Make the most out of what your best day, ask SPIRIT to help you through the worst days. Keep going. Know that SPIRIT loves you and will help you!

 Walk of Faith

Day 19: Remapping, the beginning stage.

Awareness and recognition are basic step toward remapping your neuro pathways. Ask SPIRIT / God to help you to see what has been blocking your emotional health in the past, or is blocking it now. Sometime we can not see what is blocking us because we have grown so use to it. What I have experienced is a releasing of negative energy, followed by the awareness of more behaviors that have been keeping me stuck. Then more releasing, experiencing greater and greater health, and gaining of an upward spiral rather than a downward.

Remapping. Where you are along your journey in regaining your emotional health will have some baring on the amount of remapping you are ready to engage in.  Make a conscious choice to see yourself differently. See yourself of a person of value (because your truly are), and a person of great wealth (you have been blessed to see the abuse and know it is not right). Then determine what you would like to experience and what you are not willing to experience any more.

Right now make a list of what you value about yourself. Make a note of how your think others see you or value / devalue you. Make of note of what your best day looks like, and what your worst day feels like. Do the homework and be ready for tomorrow’s exercise.

45 Day to Reclaiming Your Emotional Health

 Walk of Faith

Day 18: Why is an energy map important?

Yesterday we talked about neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and how we begin to absorb and pattern energies in this life from the time we incarnate.  The absorption or programing creates how our minds learned, think, receive energy, perceive energy, and map out our lives. It is the safe place where we allow ourselves to receive, perceive, and give energy. So if we were raised in an emotionally unstable environment, then we see this kind of energy as the basis for normal – even when it doesn’t feel good.

Thinking back what does your energy map look like? This is an evaluation, not an opportunity to blame.

Think about how your parents, or parental figures, treated you from the earliest time you can remember. What did a typical conversation look like? How likely were you to go to your parent(s) for advise, or when you were hurt of scared? What did your parents yell at you about? What reaction did you get from them when you did something good?

Then think about how you interact in your current relationships. Do you tend to be a loaner, a joiner, slam doors when angry, allow yourself to be emotionally assaulted thinking somehow you will be accepted back and forgiven for your actions. Are you emotionally abused because you feel you somehow deserve it?

The idea here is to draw similar behavioral patterns. See things as you learned them, or patterned them. From there you can see how you act or react now. This may take you a while as the awareness of the layers come as you are ready to see them.

Remapping, I mentioned yesterday that we would discuss this today; however, I would like you to spend some time with the above concept – then we can move forward tomorrow.

Day 17: This is where it gets tough.

Yesterday we talked about neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and how we begin to absorb and pattern energies in this life from the time we incarnate.  What that means is from our earliest moments we began to gather energies, energy impressions, and language that we will take on our journey through the rest of our days: of course some consideration has to be given to the chemistry in our body, the DNA, and chromosomes. Fundamentally these are the building blocks by which our minds create beliefs, perceptions, and judgement.

So how then does that create the current circumstance that we find ourselves in with an abusive relationship? And why are we not running to the door in an effort toward self preservation?

That requires us to look at our past with an eye of science rather than a blame game. That it important. It is in our past that our beingness was programmed. It is from our past that our minds learned how to think, receive energy, perceive energy, and map out our lives. This is the place that our energy map was drawn.

What is an energy map? It is the safe place where we allow ourselves to receive, perceive, and give energy. So if we were raised in an emotionally unstable environment, then we see this kind of energy as the basis for normal – even when it doesn’t feel good. Thinking back what does your energy map look like. This is an evaluation, not an opportunity to blame.

Tomorrow we will look at remapping.

Day 16: How Did I Get Here?

It is time for a little tough love: the look inside to see how and why we got caught up in allowing ourselves to be emotionally abused in the first place. Second, why did we stay so long, and how come we did not ditch and run at the first sign of trouble? The simple answer is neuro-linguistic programing (NLP).

This is a fancy term for what the human mind experiences and patterns from infancy. This also extends to behavioral patterns, the ability to reason, and the process of change while we are in the current human experience. Here is a resource if you would like to learn about more about NLP: http://www.nlpu.com/NewDesign/NLPU_WhatIsNLP.html

When we were in utero and infancy we were exposed to the thoughts feelings and emotions of our those in our immediate environment. Our neuro net (or brain map) began to be programmed with thoughts, feeling, and emotions; as well as, how to process those emotions. We also began to absorb language, and how to use that language to express energies into thought patterns. Those thought waves sent out signals and those signals received by others, were sent back with a certain energy pattern or resonance. The development of those vibrations became the basis for our understanding of the world. Those thought patterns became the norm. It is the norm that we function from and create our own beliefs, perceptions, and judgements that we then hold to be true. This becomes our comfy blanked so to speak.

Concrete example: The norm for the color of butter is yellow. When margarine was invented it had a white appearance therefore rendering it unacceptable on the market. So yellow die was added to make the margarine more acceptable. Why?  Simply it was easier to make the margarine fit the mold of the neuro programing of the buying public than to educate them and have them accept the new concept.

I will give some time to allow that to resonate, and tomorrow we will look at how NLP lends itself to why we are unable to walk away from emotional abuse effortlessly.
